The Seven Main Chakras

The Chakra

According to Eastern Medicine there are 8 main energy centers for the human body.
They are in the center of the body, starting at the base of the spine and
running up to and through the top of the head.
These are called The Tantric Chakras:

Muladhata ~ Root ~ Base Chakra
Svadhisthana ~ Sacral ~ Navel Chakra
Manipura ~ Stomach ~ Solar Plexus Chakra
Anadhata ~ The Heart Chakra
Visuddha ~ The Thoat Chakra
Ajna ~ Brow ~ Third Eye Chakra
Sahasrara ~ The Crown Chakra
Bindu ~ The Spirit Chakra

How To find a Chakra:

Use a gemstone and circle the front of the body (in a large circle) over the area where a Chakra should be.
many gemstones will work -- but I find Black Onyx is the easiest.
One can do this without a gemstone after practice but using a gemstone makes it much easier
Slowly decrease the size of circle following the energy.
With Black Onyx, you can feel where the Chakra is by where you place it on your body.
One's body will tingle where Chakras are.
Other gemstones can be more subtle. The gemstone simply feels like it is being lead to the Chakra.

Single Chakra Therapy

Often one simply wants to work on a single Chakra.
Simply place a gemstone or strand of gemstones on a Chakra and keep them there from 3-25 minutes.
I prefer using a Lemurian Seed Crystal Wand on Chakras,
because it knows the correct technique to use in each situation.
However, here are the stones that others recommend for use on each Chakra.

One can always substitute a clear quartz sphere or strand of frosted quartz beads for any Chakra.
Other people have different charts. Experiment. Find what works best for you!
If a stone ever feels very uncomfortable, I recommend removing it immediatly.

Another way to do single Chakra therapy is to take a single stone and sequentially work your way up the Chakras.
ie. put Blue Fluorite on your Root Chakra for 3-5 minutes;
then on your Sacral Chakra for 3-5 minutes, etc. This teaches you many things:

How a stone feels on each Chakra
Which Chakra it works best on (or does it feel good on all)
If the stone works well on more than one Chakra

My favorite gemstone to do this with is Turquoise (These Bead Rings also work Great).
My clients have also found this very healing. Even though Turquoise feels healing placed on the Chakra.
Placeing it directly on the organ that needed it helps even more.
The one to two inch Bead Ring Pendants were obtained from Tommy Gonzalez of
Cristalo Feng Shui and Stones of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. From left to right the Ring Pendants consist of Amazonite, Green Aventurine, Blue Jade, Green Jade, Fancy Jasper, Rhodochrosite, Rhodonite and Rose Quartz.

I tried this once with a Labradorite Magic Star (Icosahedron) and it was very overwhelming.

Amethyst and Chevron Amethyst were very uplifting -- but they seemed to feel much better on the
Higher Chakras singly or directly than on the Lower Chakra

Rose quartz felt good -- but my body wanted more Rose Quartz on The Heart Chakra than on the other Chakras

A 20mm Rutilated w/Tourmaline within a Quartz Sphere feels Great, but there are some who hate it.
Try it for a very very short time (15 seconds) on a single Chakra. Always follow it by something soothing/healing.
Like some frosted Quartz Spheres. Personally I use Cantewaste Ikiksapa (my Misty Quartz Skull)

All Chakra Therapy

The easiest therapy is to take 7 clear quartz spheres or
7 strands of frosted quartz beads and place them on all your Chakras
Starting at the base Chakra and working your way up. Let them stay on your Chakras for 10-25 minutes.
Remove the strands in the opposite order -- starting from the crown Chakra.
You may wish to wear a strand of frosted quartz when done to help maintain your balance.

I have tried this therapy with Beads, Skulls, Spheres and Tumbled Crystals of several different types of gemstones.
When using other gemstones, I recommend using one of those four.

How to use quartz crystals without feeling drained.

Depending on how one uses crystals -- they can leave you extremely depleted (though the experiences may occasionally be worth it). If you use gemstones in the rounded form (spheres or rounded beads), your energy should be able to stay in tact. If you are simply missing the added energy you can get from the quartz crystal, wearing a strand of frosted quartz spheres will often give you the same energetic feeling.
To have a very rewarding and exhilarating experience with gem stones, try one of these four methods:

Method 1:

Use a Chevron Amethyst Bead Necklace or Sugilite Bead Necklace around your head as if they were a Crown. Works best if the beads are undyed and NOT knotted. If the necklace has a pendant, make sure that it covers The Third Eye Chakra. With my Necklace there are three pendants, The Petalite and Phenacite each rest on a temple, The Moldavite rest on the Third Eye. I think it looks great. But others say that it looks funny. Hey beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and besides it is the results that count not the looks. I use this bead crown for meditation for time spans of between 30 to 60 minutes. I get a great deal of energy, many insights, as well as notice that overall my sensitivity has increased, to the point where my body and mind feel as if I am floating in a sea of knowledge.

Method 2:

Use a single Amethyst or Quartz high quality bead on the 6th Chakra. (Actually, an undrilled sphere works best -- 20mm or larger). Meditate/Contemplate on questions you have. This method can get very intense. However, it often gives very direct answers to a specific question.

Method 3:

Use four Petalite or Rhodizite (or a combination of both) placed within a grid on the forehead. This is a Major Technique for the use of these Powerful Little Gems. Though used primarily for Dream Walking and Akashic Record Reading, it has other uses. The Technique is called
The Dragon's Eye
in Europe and
The Eye of The Dragon in China and Tibet.
It was called
The Serpent's Eye in South America,
The Eye of The Serpent in Madagascar and
The Eye Of The Horned One in the US
(The Mythical Serpent of the Native Americans).

The Great Horned Serpent

Misi-kinepikw {mee-See-kee-nay-peek-wah} Cree
Msi-kinepikwa {Mzee-kee-nay-peek-wah} Shawnee
Misi-ginebig {mee-See-geeng-nay-beegh} Oji-Cree
Mishi-ginebig {mee-Shee-geeng-nay-beegh} Ojibwe
Pita-skog {Pee-tah-schog} Abenaki
Sinti lapitta {Sheeng-tee lah-Peet-tah} Choctaw
Unktehi {oongk-Tay-hee} Lakota Sioux
Unktehila {oongk-tay-Hee-lah} Dakota Sioux
Uktena {oongk-tay-nah} Cherokee

The Eye Of The Dragon is an arrangement of 4 gems placed upon the forehead such that the 4 vertexes of the gems used form 3 triangles. The old technique had one using the pitch of one of the Sacred Trees. The 21st Century Shaman / Wise Person Uses Duo Surgical Adhesive. First secure One gem high on each temple, The third Gem is secured to the bridge of the nose and the fourth is secured dead center in the forehead (for me I like this method the best)...
The feeling is much more intense, definitely more informative and very full filling)...

Method 4:

BUT ~ For a real RUSH ~ I have used and heartily recommend utilizing the above Techniques
in conjunction WITH the Crystal Skulls...

To summarize

The Awakening of Kundalini

There are three main methods of using these wondrous gem stones:
#1: Placement on a single Chakra at a time
#2: Placement on all Chakras at once.
or
#3: Within an Elixir, Tincture or Tisane
One should experiment to see which works best for them.

Muladhara ~ The Root Chakra ~ First Chakra
This Chakra is related to instinct, security, survival and also to basic human potentiality. This center is located in the region between the genitals and the anus. Although no endocrine organ is placed here, it is said to relate to the inner adrenal glands, the adrenal medulla, responsible for the fight and flight response when survival is under threat. In this region is located a muscle that controls ejaculation in the sexual act in the human male. A parallel is charted between the sperm cell and the ovum where the genetic code lies coiled and the Kundalini. Symbolized by a lotus with four petals. Located at the base of the spine and Contains the primary 8 cells that have all of the knowledge of creation and remain the only cells in your body that do not change in your lifetime. It grounds us in the physical world.

Svadhisthana ~ The Sacral Chakra ~ Second Chakra
This Chakra is located in the sacrum (hence the name) and is related to base emotion, sexuality and creativity. This Chakra is considered to correspond to the testicles or the ovaries that produce the various sex hormones involved in the reproductive cycle which may cause dramatic mood swings. Symbolized by a lotus with six petals. Located just beneath the navel, and related to our sexual and reproductive capacity. Blockage manifests as emotional problems or sexual guilt.

Manipura ~ The Solar Plexus Chakra ~ Third Chakra
This Chakra is related to the transition from simple or base to complex emotion, energy, assimilation and digestion, and is held to correspond to the roles played by the pancreas and the outer adrenal glands, the adrenal cortex. These play a valuable role in digestion, the conversion of food matter into energy for the body. Symbolized by a lotus with ten petals. This is the Seat of our Emotions. It gives us a sense of personal power in the world. A blockage manifests as anger or a sense of victimization.

Anadhata ~ The Heart Chakra ~ Fourth Chakra
This Chakra is related to complex emotion, compassion, love, equilibrium and well-being. It is related to the thymus, located in the chest. The thymus is an element of the immune system as well as being part of the endocrine system. It produces T cells responsible for fending off disease and may be adversely affected by stress. Symbolized by a lotus with twelve petals. A blockage can manifest as immune system or heart problems, or a lack of compassion.

Visuddha ~ The Thoat Chakra ~ Fifth Chakra
This Chakra may be envisioned as relating to communication and growth, growth being a form of expression. This Chakra is paralleled to the thyroid, a gland that is also in the throat and which produces thyroid hormone, responsible for growth and maturation. Symbolized by a lotus with sixteen petals. It is tied to creativity and communication.
Feels pressure when you are not communicating your emotions properly.

Ajna ~ The Third Eye Chakra ~ Sixth Chakra
This Chakra is linked to the pineal gland which may inform a model of its envisioning. Ajna is held as the Chakra of time, awareness and of light. The pineal gland is a light sensitive gland that produces the hormone melatonin which regulates sleep and awakening. Symbolized by a lotus with two petals. The Pineal Gland Is a physical eye with the capabilities of looking inwards, outwards and upward.

Sahasrara ~ The Crown Chakra ~ Seventh Chakra
This Chakra is generally considered to be the Chakra of consciousness. Its role may be envisioned somewhat similarly to that of the pituitary gland, which secretes hormones to communicate to the rest of the endocrine system and also connects to the central nervous system via the hypothalamus. The thalamus is thought to have a key role in the physical basis of consciousness. Symbolized by a lotus with one thousand petals, it is located on the crown of the head. Connects you with messages from higher realms. Can be experienced as a pressure on the top of the head.

Bindu ~ The Spirit Chakra ~ Eighth Chakra
This Chakra: Connects you with Entities from Other Realms. This is The You that Was, Is and Will Be. For we have arrived at Sri Yantra: The highest, most advanced symbol of The Tantra. And is symbolized by a Dot or Bindu in the center, which also symbolizes this as the point of divergence and convergence of our Realm and the next.

The Chakra of Mother Earth

Ancient people knew that wherever the earth's energy gathered into a vortex, there existed a sacred place. These strongly charged areas of the globe have also been the places where people have chosen to build their Holy Places and their centers of Spirit and Learning. Places like Stonehenge, the Pyramids of Egypt, Easter Island, and so on are well known as vortex spots. There are three main types of vortexes - all three are replenishing and supercharged with high quality energy. The three vortex types are:

Electric - stimulates and energizes, activates
Magnetic - attracts energy to the area
Electromagnetic -both activates and attracts energy

There are powerful vortexes scattered around the globe that are, in essence, the Earth's Chakra system. Mother Earth has both a major and a minor Chakra system, just as people do. With the advent of modern life and wide spread pollution, Mother Earth's Chakras have become contaminated - and in need of clearing. Ancient mystics such as the Cherokee, Druids, Huichol, Mayan and Toltec all had techniques and procedures to heal Mother Earth. These Ancient Shaman, Wise Man/Woman used song, sounds, and ceremonies to keep a Chakra open, cleaned, and in proper working order. More and more people in the 21st century are remembering these old ways and are once again paying homage in ritual to our Great Mother. People are relearning the ancient shamanic and medicine way knowledge, centered on a relationship with Mother Earth. This not only helps heal Mother Earth, but affects the person strongly as well. Again, the relationship between our Mother Earth and us is reciprocal. We affect each other in direct and subtle ways.

As people meditate and send energy to Mother Earth while close to a vortex point, most come to a common realization. That these vortexes serve as portals - ones that humans can tap to touch their own higher dimensional selves. All of us have at least 12 layers of subtle bodies coupled with our current physical one. Mother Earth has these layers as well. When we are close to an active Chakra of Mother Earth, it energizes us to "see" things the way they really are: multi-dimensional and ever evolving.

Although some may think vortexes and energy grids are pure fantasy, science is beginning to prove that this ancient teaching is actual fact.
As can be found in Joseph Jochman's book "Earth, the Crystal Planet"
In 1973, three Russians--historian Nikolai Goncharov, construction engineer Vyacheslav Morozov. and electronics specialist Valery Makarov--announced in the science journal for the Soviet Academy of Science, Chemistry and Life, their discovery of a geometric grid pattern which appears to interlink a wide number of natural phenomena into a single planetary system. Their work was based on the flndings of American researcher Ivan T. Sanderson who identified what he called ten vile vortexes or electromagnetic energy disturbances located equidistant over the surface of the globe, the so-called Bermuda Triangle near the Caribbean and the Devil's Sea off Japan being two of these. What the three Russians found was an underlying framework linking these centers into a dual crystal structure, a combination between an icosahedron and a dodecahedron. Not surprisingly, these happen to be the Fourth and Fifth Solids in the Platonic series, which were projected outward by the Earth for over the last million years or so."

If you get a chance to rest and meditate at one of the Major Earth Vortexes, do make sure that you listen closely.
It is commonly accepted that there is at least one Major Chakra on each continent.
The 7 Cardinal Chakras are:

1st Chakra - Mt. Shasta, California

2nd Chakra - Lake Titicaca, South America.

3rd Chakra - Uluru-Katatjuta, Australia.

4th Chakra - Glastonbury-Shaftesbury, England.

5th Chakra - Great Pyramid.

6th Chakra - Kuh-e Malek Siah, Iran.

7th Chakra - Mt. Kailas, Tibet.

There are also four Vortexes that govern the four Elements.
These are spinning energy portals where rituals done while in a circle, can open and heal the Earth.
Plus the participants and the people at large.
These four vortexes are situated at:

Earth - Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa...

Water - Lake Rotopounamu, North Island, New Zealand...

Air - Mount of Olives...

Fire - Haleakala Crater, Hawaii...

The Aura

The aura is a Bio-ElectroMagnetic Sheath.
This Sheath is a Field that surrounds the human body (aka Human Energy Field = HEF)
and every organism and object within the Universe.

The Human Energy Field as a collection of Electro - Magnetic Energies of varying densities
that permeate through and emit or exit from the physical body of a living person.
These particles of energy are suspended around the healthy human body in an ovoid shaped field.
This "auric egg" emits out from the body on the average of approximately 3 feet (1 metre) all around the Human Body.

The Aura consist of Seven (7) Levels/Layers/Aura Bodies . Each one of the Subtle Bodies that exist around the physical body, has its own unique frequency. They are interrelated, and affect one another and the person's feelings, emotions, thinking, behaviour, and health as well. Therefore a state of imbalance in one of the Subtle Bodies will lead to a state of imbalance in the others. And further exasperate even minor problems.

#1: The Physical Auric Body = Physical sensations. Simple physical comfort, pleasure, health.
#2: The Etheric Auric Body = Emotions with respect to self. Self-acceptance and self love.
#3: The Vital Auric Body = Rational mind. To understand the situation in a clear, linear, rational way.
#4: The Astral (Emotional) Auric Body = Relations with others. Loving interaction with friends and family.
#5: The Lower Mental Auric Body = Divine will within. To align with the divine will within, to make commitment to speak and follow the truth.
#6: The Higher Mental Auric Body = Divine love, and spiritual ecstasy.
#7: The Spiritual (Intuitive) Auric Body = Divine mind, serenity. To be connected to divine mind and to understand the greater universal pattern.

The Scourers (Scrubbers)

We are going to go over a group of crystals that I call "Scourers" and that others call "Scrubbers", because they vigorously remove debris and toxins from the body and Aura. All eight of these “Scourers” are water soluble. Solubility is the property of a solid, liquid, or gaseous chemical substance called solute to dissolve in a liquid solvent to form a homogeneous solution. All eight of these crystals clear toxins and debris from out of your body. Once clean, you have the sensation of floating and flying,
Just as if a ton of
Bad Karma had been lifted from off of your shoulders.

The Top Eight, Starting With The Strongest
Kurnakovite is the intelligence Scourer.
Colemanite clears the debris from all your bodies and then activates the Crown Chakra when it’s done.
Pollucite clears heavy metals.
Rasorite (Kernite) also Kills Cancer.
Selenite is a stone of mental clarity, it removes the debris that obstructs your mental flexibility.
Tunellite also breaks any unhealthy attachments or energies that have moved into our aura or body.
Scolecite also kills parasites.
Natrolite mainly likes to clear the brain and kills infection in the head.
